Intcube Wins First Prize in CCTV "Entrepreneur Hero Hub" Finals_News_北京智达方通科技有限公司

On September 25, Mr. Zhihong Cai, General Manager of Intcube, was awarded first prize in the 2019 Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Global Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition during the "Entrepreneur Hero Hub" program. The event was hosted by CCTV Finance Program Center, with co-organization by the HIT Committee of the Communist Youth League, HIT Alumni Association, and HIT Alumni Entrepreneurship Business School.

"Entrepreneur Hero Hub" is a large-scale youth entrepreneurship practical open class program launched by CCTV Finance Channel on December 26, 2014. Guided by the philosophy of "supporting entrepreneurship and inspiring innovation," and adhering to the principle of "real entrepreneurship, real investment, and real value," the program aims to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams. It is regarded as a benchmark for entrepreneurship programs in China and a mainstream value platform with significant public trust and influence.

After six months of competition among over 500 projects from around the world across six sub-competition zones, covering fields such as new materials, new energy and energy conservation, artificial intelligence, and modern agriculture, Mr. Zhihong Cai of Intcube ranked among the top eight in the Shanghai sub-competition finals of the HIT Global Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on August 10, advancing to the global finals. On September 24, during the global finals group stage, he secured second place in the second group, earning a spot among the top 21 contestants. That same afternoon, in the "21 to 12" semifinals, he ranked fourth overall and advanced to the finals, ultimately appearing on the CCTV "Entrepreneur Hero Hub" stage.

Mr. Zhihong Cai is a technical expert in multidimensional databases and enterprise performance management. During his tenure at Hyperion and Oracle, he was involved in the architectural design and development of Hyperion Planning V1 to V11 software, as well as the design and development of data warehouse products. After returning to China in 2010, he founded Beijing Intcube Technology Co., Ltd. and led the team in developing the multidimensional data storage and OLAP calculation engine platform—Intcube OLAP. Multidimensional database technology is a core technology in data analysis, comprehensive budgeting, and business intelligence. The development and application of Intcube OLAP have filled a gap in China’s multidimensional database technology. Based on this technology, Intcube has built various financial analysis and data analysis applications for Chinese enterprises to meet their performance management needs.
