On September 6, the award ceremony of the inaugural Xi'an Jiaotong University Global Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the high-end forum titled "Siyuan Jiaoda, Innovation and Win-Win" were successfully held at the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Harbor. After intense competition, the comprehensive budget management project submitted by Beijing Intcube Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Intcube") made it into the top ten, ultimately advancing to the finals and winning the Excellence Award.
This event was a concrete practice by Xi'an Jiaotong University to support global alumni in innovation and entrepreneurship, providing an excellent platform for cooperation and mutual benefit to comprehensively enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of alumni. Wang Shuguo, President of Xi'an Jiaotong University; Kang Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Xi'an Municipal Committee and Director of the Xixian New Area Administrative Committee; as well as alumni representatives from across the country, representatives of faculty and students of the university, and representatives from relevant government departments gathered at the Innovation Harbor to discuss cutting-edge developments in technology, build consensus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and explore new models of win-win cooperation among "government, university, and alumni." The award ceremony of this competition was hosted by Lu Yiming, an alumnus of Xi'an Jiaotong University's class of 1992.
It is reported that over 100 projects were eligible to participate in this event. The shortlisted projects covered fields such as advanced manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and artificial intelligence, with 20 projects ultimately advancing to the finals. Based on the concentration of alumni and regional industrial characteristics, the competition established five parallel sub-competition zones (Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay Area, North China, Northwest China, and North America) to solicit projects from global Jiaotong alumni. The competition has successively held more than 20 sub-competition events, peak forums, investment and policy matchmaking sessions, and entrepreneurship training activities in cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Xi'an, and Silicon Valley.
Intcube EPM, which participated in this selection, stood out from over 100 projects after multiple rounds of screening and made it into the top 10 list. Intcube EPM includes: Enterprise Performance Management System, Comprehensive Budget Management System, Business Intelligence Analysis System, Execution Control System, and Multidimensional Database System. Intcube OLAP is a multidimensional database (DW) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) platform with independent intellectual property rights, serving as the foundational technical platform for financial analysis and management accounting application systems.
